Much of the world was stunned and disappointed after hearing the announcement that the 33-year-old 7-time welterweight boxing champion, Manny Pacquiao, had finally lost his belt to 28-year-old undefeated American boxer, Timothy Bradley, via split decision after their 12-round bout held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Although some few may agree that Bradley did give a good fight against the Filipino fighter with the lightning-speed punches, boxing aficionados and famous Hollywood and non-Hollywood celebrities showed disappointment, love and overwhelming support for the former 8-division title champ on Twitter.

Curvaceous reality star Kim Kardashian, for one, couldn’t believe the outcome and expressed her rage by tweeting:

“Just talking about this Pacquiao fight with @KhloeKardashian! How is this even legal???!!! Seems so fixed! Pacquiao deserves that belt!”

Her sister, Khloe, chimed in and posted on her Twitter:

“So when Bradley checks the tape…. And sees what we all saw… Will he give the belt to Pac? What winner says they need to check the tape?”

Justin Timberlake was quick to express some serious disappointment on his Twitter:

“I cannot believe what I just saw… Please tell me they read that decision wrong… #Rigged”

He added:

“I’m gonna let it go… After I say this… Boxing was RUINED tonight for me.”

His new fiancee, Jessica Biel, shared the same sentiments and tweeted:

“What a joke! I can’t believe they gave it to Bradley.”

“American Idol” runner-up Jessica Sanchez, who is half-Filipino, joined the bandwagon despite having sung the “Star Spangled Banner” for Bradley before the fight. She tweeted:

“Congrats to the new winner but I’m still really upset about the results :(“

Singers Chris Daughtry and Bruno Mars were clearly distraught about the decision as well. The “Grenade” singer, who is actually part-Filipino, put it simply in his tweet:

“Pac man 4 life”

The “American Idol” fourth-placer expressed his shock with an all-caps tweet:

“YOU’VE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!!! PACQUAIO TOTALLY OWNED THAT FIGHT!!!”

He followed it up with another tweet:

Bradley did NOT deserve that win!!!! This is a disgrace!”

The gorgeous “Hunger Games” star Elizabeth Banks had the impression that the belt was swiped from the real winner when she tweeted:

“So I take it Manny Pacquiao got robbed. #RIPBoxing”

Another part-Filipino celebrity, “Saturday Night Live” comedian Rob Schneider, referred to one of the boxing judges who deemed Pacquiao as the loser on Twitter:

“I feel sorry for CJ Ross, the crooked judge from the Pacquiao fight. If she ever needs to go to the hospital, the Flip nurses will kill her!”

“Late Night” comedian, Jimmy Kimmel, dared to post a half-joke on his Twitter:

Paula Abdul would have done a better job judging the@MannyPacquiao fight”

For many, they may have accepted the decision but continued to show their love for their favorite boxer by using the hashtag “#mannypacquiaoisstillthebestboxer,” which quickly made it to the top of the world’s most trending topics yesterday.

The newly-engaged pop star, Miley Cyrus, used the hashtag yesterday in her tweet:

“I couldn’t agree more with the trending topics #mannypacquiaoisstilltheworldsbestboxer”

She added:

“this just proves that everything boils down to politics. ugh. why cant people just fight fair?! let the WINNERS win!”

Hotel heiress-slash-pro DJ Paris Hilton had nothing but good words for Pacman in her tweet:

“I don’t care what the judges said, @MannyPacquiao totally deserved to win that fight. The #PacMan is The Ultimate Champ! Love him!”

Nick Carter, heartthrob of the reunited “Backstreet Boys,” even hoped for a protest on Twitter to declare his “rightful” winner:

“I think I may never take boxing seriously after that tonight. Mannypacquiao won that fight! Sad day for boxing, I think we should protest!”

He also tweeted:

Bradley should man up and return that belt! This is so sad…”

“That 70′s Show” star and Hollywood heartthrob, Wilmer Valderrama, tweeted:

“WHAT!? BRADLEY!? …decisions like THIS that made boxing fans like US stop tuning in.”

Even Oscar De La Hoya, famed 10-time 6-division world champion boxer who himself lost to Pacquiao back in late 2008, clearly agreed with the majority when he tweeted:

Bradley should have given the belt and announce victory to paquiao right after the decision.”
