CHARLIE SHEEN tells Hollywood news that he has decided to retire from his acting career after his new show, “Anger Management.”

For real?

After being fired and replaced by younger actor Ashton Kutcher on his hit show, “Two and a Half Men,” Charlie will now only be seen on “Anger Management,” premiering next Thursday… and then that’s it for the veteran actor.

Sadly, no amount of petitions and pro-Charlie local billboard signs will be able to bring him back after that.

The 46-year-old actor revealed to the New York Times:

“When I’m done with this business it’s just going to be about soccer games and amusement parks.”

He added:

“And when [‘Anger Management’] ends, I’m done. This is my swan song.”

Apparently, it has nothing to do with any conflicts with producers or his streak of hospitalizations and meltdowns. Sheen reasoned out:

“I’ve been doing this 30 years. And there’s a lot more out there to do than make-believe, you know? I mean, I’m grateful. I’ve got a dream life as a direct result of television, you know? But at some point you just get tired of wearing somebody else’s clothes, saying somebody else’s words and working in somebody else’s space. I’m also aware of the fact that you don’t get these kinds of shots in the same lifetime.”

He continued:

“You’re only supposed to have one hit show, unless you’re Kelsey Grammer.”

Will you be sad to see Charlie Sheen go for good?
