JACK OSBOURNE has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, according to the latest celebrity news.
How sad!
Just a few weeks after Jack Osbourne welcomed his first child with fiancée Lisa Kelly, whom he got engaged to late last year, the British rocker spawn was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, which is a disease that affects the central nervous system.
Osbourne tells PEOPLE:
“I was just angry and frustrated and kept thinking, ‘Why now?’ I’ve got a family and that’s what’s supposed to be the most important thing.”
Multiple sclerosis is not fatal, but can sometimes lead to a shorter life expectancy than those who do not have the disease. It also entails problems with physical and cognitive function, including limb weakness, muscle spasms, visual disturbances, and more.
Jack, who has been receiving a lot of love and support from family, friends and fans, tweeted today:
“Thank you all so much for the kind and inspirational words. It means a lot. #adaptandovercome.”
