Celebrity gossip websites have just learned that JAKE GYLLENHAAL and MINKA KELLY recently had a secret fling.
Minka, who had been hooking up with notorious lothario Wilmer Valderrama immediately after her split from longtime boyfriend Derek Jeter, reportedly had a secret, short-lived fling with longtime admirer Jake Gyllenhaal.
Jake was linked to actresses Anna Kendrick and Rashida Jones after his breakup with Taylor Swift, but the woman he was really interested in, according to sources, was “Friday Night Lights” star Minka Kelly.
Unfortunately, Minka shot him down when he asked her out last fall.
A mutual friend of the pair tells Us Weekly:
“Minka wasn’t into Jake when he first pursued her… [but she] decided to give Jake another chance.”
After a couple of dates, however, their romance soon fizzled out.
A second insider explains:
“It was never serious, and it’s over now.”
