JIMMY FALLON spoofed the “Evolution of Dance” viral video for Father’s Day and turned it into “The Evolution Of Dad Dance,” star news reports.
Just after joining the bandwagon and doing a cover of “Call My Maybe” with Carly Rae Jepsen, the funnyman himself from “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” recently made a remake of the viral video, “Evolution of Dance,” and turned it into his version as a tribute to dads everywhere for Father’s Day—aptly called “The Evolution of Dad Dancing.”
Like the original video, Jimmy dances on a little stage in front of a single spotlight… But instead of doing signature dances to hit songs from the past generations to present, he exhibited common moves made famous by fathers from all over the world.
A middle-aged Fallon, complete with spectacles, does awkward “fatherly” dance moves such as the “Clap When You Want To,” the “Random Pointer,” the “Shake Your Booty (Until You Hurt Your Back)” and the wrongly spelled “YMUC” in the hysterical 2-minute video.
