In recent star news, JUSTIN BIEBER got angry during a radio interview on Detroit’s 106.7 show “Mojo in the Morning” yesterday…
…so angry that he ended up slamming the phone down on the interviewer!
Justin is normally quite professional when he does interviews, but when the singer did a phone-in interview with DJ Mojo of “Mojo in the Morning,” he ended up letting his temper get the better of him.
And we all know Justin isn’t one to back down from a fight.
Now the interview went off to a pretty good start… at least until the DJ complimented Justin on his new album “Believe” and said that he sounded like Justin Timberlake in “Boyfriend.”
The DJ said:
“I thought it was Justin Timberlake… I hope you take this as a compliment, I really mean it as that.”
Justin was immediately offended and replied:
“Man that’s crazy ’cause our voices sound nothing alike. I mean, I’m not trying to sound like anyone… saying I sound like someone else is not really a compliment.”
But things really went downhill after the interviewer joked with Justin about his mom Pattie Mallette and One Direction’s Harry Styles, who is known to have a thing for… er, mature ladies.
After asking him about his new friendship with the British boy band, DJ Mojo jokingly asked The Biebs:
“Do you worry about Harry [Styles] being around your mom since it seems like he likes older women?”
Justin angrily responded:
“I think you should worry about me around your mom, bro.”
To which DJ Mojo replied:
“Justin, my mom’s dead so unfortunately that wouldn’t work.”
And then Justin hung up.
DJ Mojo then explained that his comment about Justin’s mom and Harry Styles wasn’t to goad Justin—he was just trying to lighten the mood by making a joke that Justin had already made previously, about him being worried about his mom around Harry, since the latter is indeed famous for his taste for cougars.
