Recent Hollywood news tells us that R. KELLY owes at least $4.8 million worth of unpaid taxes.
Whoa, that’s a lot!
We heard that R. Kelly stopped paying taxes for a few years, but sources tell us that the R&B star actually owes the U.S. government way over $4 million of unpaid taxes accumulated for 6 years until 2010!
And we thought Marc Anthony‘s $3.4 million debt was too much!
TMZ reports the breakdown of the “Trapped In The Closet” singer’s taxes per year:
2005 – $1,472,366.77
2006 – $710,520.51
2007 – $376,180.11
2008 – $1,122,694.90
2009 – $173,815.18
2010 – $992,495.24
The total amount? A shocking $4,848,072.71.
Yikes!
However, R. Kelly‘s rep tells the site:
“R. Kelly is in the process of working everything out with the government and is confident that all his obligations will be satisfied.”
