According to the latest Hollywood gossip, LINDSAY LOHAN broke the rules set by her movie company when she drove and crashed the Porsche that she was driving on the Pacific Coast Highway last week.

Yikes.

Lindsay seriously can’t catch a break!

Like her recent crash crash two weeks ago (and the controversies that soon surrounded it afterwards) wasn’t enough, sources reveal that the mere fact that she got behind the wheel herself had already put her in danger of screwing up her filming for “Liz & Dick“—exactly what the insurance policy that the production company took out is trying to prevent.

We’re guessing the “hunch” that the production had before giving the much coveted role of Liz Taylor in the film to the troubled actress was dead on…

According to the report by TMZ:

“…the insurance company that issued the policy — which would take a major hit if Lindsay couldn’t complete the film — was extremely reluctant to take the risk.  The insurance company set numerous conditions on its coverage, and one of them was banning Lindsay from the roads which have landed her in big trouble multiple times — DUIs, car accidents, and on and on.”

The thing is, Lindsay‘s production crew knew very well that she was breaking the rules when she drove before the crash. In fact, they were driving right behind her in a separate SUV the whole time.

Only time will tell whether or not the insurance company will be canceling the policy altogether or opt for another consequential action.

But one thing’s for sure—Lindsay won’t be getting behind the wheel at all until after she finishes filming for the biopic.
