In recent star news, MARY-KATE and ASHLEY OLSEN are currently being bashed by PETA for the new fur and animal skin handbag that they recently unveiled from their luxury line, The Row.
Mary-Kate and Ashley are constantly on PETA’s radar due to their constant use of fur and animal skins—both in their wardrobe and for their fashion line—and their latest offense is their new fur patchwork purse, which retails at an astounding $16,900.
The non-cruelty free bag, which also comes in calf and alligator skin, has caused the outspoken animal rights group to once again target the twins.
PETA recently released a statement against the Olsens about the offending bags:
“If it looks like a troll and acts like a troll, it’s probably a Trollsen Twin — or someone wearing one of their new $16,000 totes, which are made from the fur and skins of innocent animals.”
The group added:
“What the Olsens lack in creativity, they try to make up for in shock value. Sadly, it’s the foxes, calves, and alligators — who often have the fur ripped off them while they are still conscious and able to feel pain — who pay the dearest price.”
Do you think Mary-Kate and Ashley finally listen to PETA?
