Star news has just learned that longtime couple MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY and CAMILA ALVES are now finally married!
Six years together and two kids later, the gorgeous twosome has finally tied the knot.
The “Magic Mike” actor, who proposed to Alves last Christmas, married his bride in a “high-end,” campout-themed wedding in Austin, Texas on Saturday.
A source tells Us Weekly:
“There were about 100 of his close friends and family there… [The ceremony] was very emotional. There was a moment when… [Matthew] leaned down and whispered something in [Camila's] ear and you could see a tear coming down her face. Everyone let out a collective sigh.”
The couple’s guests—including celebrity pals Woody Harrelson and filmmaker Richard Linklater—partied all night following the ceremony and camped out in state-of-the art tents that were set up all over McConaughey and Alves’ property.
Another source details:
“It’s definitely a campground, but they weren’t exactly roughing it… They have showers, restrooms, and air conditioning. It’s very unique, high-end camping.”
Sounds like it was a blast!
