For Miley Cyrus‘ engagement ring, one of Hollywood’s favorite jewelers Neil Lane was the lucky one chosen by Miley‘s groom-to-be, Liam Hemsworth, to create the highly-anticipated bling. And because the now grown up Hannah Montana deserves all the best, Liam reportedly wanted Lane to create “something unusual” and “something really beautiful and romantic.”

Well, thanks to the awfully lucrative “The Hunger Games,” Miley got engaged with Liam proposing with nothing less than a 3.5-carat cushion-cut diamond ring, reportedly cut by hand and crafted in an 18-karat gold ring carved to make diamond floral motifs in an art nouveau pattern.

And get this, the huge diamond in the center is actually an antique that dates as far back as the 19th century!

Neil Lane himself revealed to PEOPLE:

“It was hand-cut around 1880 or 1890 and it’s unique and in its original form.”

He continued:

“At that time no two diamonds were alike, as they were all hand-cut, so it’s fascinating to look at because it hasn’t been re-cut to look contemporary over the years. I find that really romantic.”

Seems like the perfect choice for the young and blingy Miley.
