NYC nightclub W.i.P. claims that TONY PARKER shouldn’t be suing them for the recent CHRIS BROWN and DRAKE bar brawl… because it was not their fault.
The once hip and now closed W.i.P. nightclub in New York is defending themselves, claiming that they shouldn’t be blamed for the massive brawl that took place at their venue because of Chris Brown and Drake‘s peeps.
The club also feels that the scuffle was out of their control no matter how they tried to stop it and with around 15 security guards.
Therefore, they shouldn’t be sued by Tony Parker, who suffered a bad eye injury (due to the broken glass from the flying bottles during the fight) and claimed that W.i.P. should’ve known not to sell the rappers and their people any alcohol as “there was bad blood between Drake and Brown.”
Sources close to the club tell TMZ that there was no way that they could have predicted the brawl. After all, they’re not well-known enemies.
They told the site:
“Chris Brown and Drake are not Biggie and Tupac.”
Come to think of it, the lawsuit sounds a little… wrong. If the “bad” blood was the fact that they have unspoken issues about their common former flame, Rihanna, can you imagine just how many celebrities would be staying sober?
What do you think? Is the club really at fault or are Tony‘s claims a little too much?
