Hollywood news warns that ROBERT PATTINSON wants to strangle whoever invented his now-famous nickname, “R-PATZ“!
Take it easy now, R-Pa—We mean, Robert!
Like Scarlet Johansson, who hates her nickname “ScarJo,” and “Twilight” creator Stephenie Meyer, who made it clear that she’s not a fan of the term “Twi-Hard” for her book’s fan base, Robert wants everyone to know that he’s not a fan of the nickname, R-Patz.
In his recent interview with The Guardian, Robert revealed that he’s not actually happy about his ubiquitous nickname often used in celebrity gossip websites way before he took part in the movie, “Cosmopolis.”
“When I got this part [in 'Cosmopolis'], every single article that came out was, ‘R-Patz’s struggle for credibility!; I don’t understand who invented that thing, ‘R-Patz.’”
“I want to strangle them.”
Too bad Robert failed to realize that the formulation of nicknames such as his—even his own girlfriend Kristen Stewart‘s nickname, “K-Stew“—just speaks of how famous he is now. Plus, it does get a little tiring to pronounce his entire name!
What do you think? Should people quit calling him R-Patz or should he just suck it up?
