TRACE CYRUS and BRENDA SONG have split up and have called off their engagement, according to the latest star news.
How sad!
Days after his sister Miley announced her engagement to boyfriend (and now fiancé) Liam Hemsworth, the former “Metro Station” rocker revealed that he and his fiancée had called it quits.
Trace, who popped the question to Brenda Song last October amid rumors (which were later denied by the couple) that they were expecting their first child together, revealed the news in a statement to Us Weekly:
“Brenda and I have decided to go our separate ways. We split up a couple of months ago… We will continue to focus on our careers. I wish Brenda the best and much success in the future. I hope everyone can respect our privacy about this situation. Thanks so much.”
But why did they break up? A source explains:
“…they were in love and they care a lot about each other, but they just weren’t ready for what they got themselves into… it just comes down to them being too young and not ready.”
Aaww. Let’s all hope Miley and Liam don’t go down the same path!
