According to the latest star news, “Vampire Diaries” co-stars CANDICE ACCOLA and ZACH ROERIG have called it quits.
Huh. Did anyone even know that they were a couple?
Looks like Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder weren’t the only ones coupling up on and getting hot and heavy on the “Vampire Diaries” set!
Candice Accola, who plays cheerleader-turned-vampire Caroline Forbes on the hit CW show, and Zach Roerig, who plays Caroline’s ex-boyfriend Matt Donovan, have reportedly broken up after dating for a couple of months… or maybe even a year or two, we’re not exactly sure.

Last October, Accola tweeted a photo of Roerig with the caption:
“Cheering on my man at his second paddle board race! He kicked some major ass :)”
Meanwhile, the actor posted a photo of Candice in a bikini on his own Twitter page, with the words “Go Zach!!” written on her stomach. He captioned it:
“My number 1 cheerleader!”
And for Halloween last year, the low-key couple even coordinated their costumes. Candice went as a beauty pageant winner from “Toddlers & Tiaras” while Zach dressed up as her “creepy stage dad.”
