According to recent Hollywood celebrity gossip, ALEX PETTYFER “was a diva” on the set of “Magic Mike”—which caused some animosity between him and the film’s main star, CHANNING TATUM.
Uh-oh.
Thanks to Pettyfer’s exceedingly unsavory reputation, which he has been inadvertently cultivating ever since he stepped onto the acting scene, this rumor isn’t all that hard to believe.
The British actor, who plays a protégé stripper who gets taken under the wing of Channing Tatum’s character, is reportedly a pain to be around on set—just ask Channing!
A source tells Us Weekly:
“Channing thought Alex was a diva on set.”
The insider adds:
“[Channing] hates Alex… they had massive fights…”
But it wasn’t just Channing whom Alex clashed with during filming. The source shares:
“Alex was a jerk to everyone during filming for no reason. He thinks he’s the star of the movie, not Channing or Matthew McConaughey.”
Wow. Bigheaded much?
Do you think Alex will have a long-lasting career in Hollywood with that kind of attitude?

I hadn’t heard about the diva comments until after I had seen the film. My first reaction to the film was that Pettyfer’s character should have been the lead in the storyline. Structurally it would be a stronger film if it had been rewritten with Pettyfer’s character, Adam, as the central character.
