ANNE HATHAWAY: “I Was Mental Patient Level Of Crying” When My Hair Was Chopped Off For “Les Miserables”
ANNE HATHAWAY recently revealed to entertainment news that she was actually mental patient level of crying when her long brunette hair was chopped off for her role in “Les Miserables.”
We’re sure we speak for tons of Anne Hathaway‘s fans when we say that we were distraught when she had her long chestnut hair cut into a short, boyish hairdo—more than we were when she underwent an extreme diet—for the role of Fantine in the film adaptation of the acclaimed Broadway musical, “Les Miserables”–for the part.
But as it turns out, Anne was just as upset about it… probably even more that any of us were!
“I wasn’t expecting it to be a big deal. It was my idea to do it since it was something the character did. [But then] I realized I couldn’t take it back.”
The actress, who said that she got hysterical about the idea of actually losing her gorgeous locks for a long time, revealed:
“[I was] a mental patient level of crying… I was inconsolable.’
We understand, Anne! At least you’ll get it all back by the time that you walk down the aisle with your fiance, Adam Shulman, in October 2013!
If it’s not completely back yet, at least there’s hair extensions…
