Star news reports that DANE COOK recently criticized the movie “The Dark Knight Rises” and dared to joke about last week’s theater shooting.
Uh, isn’t it a little too soon for that, Dane?
Sure, Dane can be funny as hell… but his latest joke could deem him the meanest comedian ever.
During his recent stand up act at the Laugh Factory in L.A., the “Good Luck Chuck” actor slammed Christopher Nolan‘s last installment to his “Dark Knight” film franchise and cracked a joke about the mass shooting incident that took place during a midnight screening of the said film in Colorado last week.
Forget the fact that it killed 12 people and injured 58 others eh, Dane?
In a video obtained by The Daily Caller, Dane can be heard saying:
“So I heard that the guy came into the theater about 25 minutes into the movie … And I don’t know if you’ve seen the movie, but the movie is pretty much a piece of crap … yeah, spoiler alert.”
Then, he continued:
“I know that if none of that would have happened, pretty sure that somebody in that theater, about 25 minutes in, realizing it was a piece of crap, was probably like ‘ugh f*cking shoot me.’”
Needless to say, some people from his audience groaned but a few people still cheered at the back-to-back joke.
Do you think Dane‘s joke was insensitive? Or do you think it was actually pretty funny?
