The latest entertainment news reports that JENNIFER LOPEZ has finally announced that she’s quitting “American Idol.” Not that we’re thrilled about it, but at least she’s finally made a decision right?
After being so unsure about whether or not she wanted to return to her judging stint on “American Idol” last year after her first season run in 2010, Jennifer was again unsure about her return for her next year’s season… although she did feel that it may be time for her to go.
But she has now made it crystal clear—her second season (this year) was her last.
Must be pretty sad for the production and the show’s sole original judge, Randy Jackson.
JLo, who followed co-judge Steven Tyler in quitting the show, called in to Ryan Seacrest this morning and said:
“I honestly feel like the time has come that I have to get back to doing the other things that I do.”
The singer-actress told the “Idol” host that “something has to give,” but added:
“We had an amazing run.”
We can’t help but fear for “American Idol” now that the show has lost so many good judges and we’re not quite sure if the producers can keep their average ratings with potential new judges like Mariah Carey, Charlie Sheen and Adam Lambert , who are reportedly in serious talks of replacing JLo and Tyler.
Listen to her break the news to Seacrest:
Will you be sad to see JLo go?
