Recent star news reports that KATHERINE and TJ have decided to share their guardianship over MICHAEL JACKSON‘s kids.
Finally, a middle ground!
Making the Jacksons‘ scandalous family feud a little less dramatic is the latest decision to have two family members share legal custody of the late Michael Jackson‘s kids, Prince, Paris and Blanket—namely their cousin, TJ, and their grandmother, Katherine.
As previously reported, Katherine was distraught to have lost her guardianship of the children to TJ when she allegedly abandoned them for more than a week. She never intended to be absent—her children, Janet, Jermaine and Randy reportedly kidnapped her in hopes of making her join in on the overthrowing of the Michael Jackson estate—so to share it is actually better than fighting over it.
And let’s face it, the kids have had enough fighting for now.
Katherine’s attorney, Perry Sanders, said in a statement:
“Mrs. Jackson is extremely pleased with the prospect of enjoying the pleasure of raising Michael’s children without the day-to-day tedium of items such as managing the large staff that goes with such a high-profile family and focus her attention on being a grandmother and raising Michael’s children.”
Sanders added:
“She is eager to simply enjoy her great relationship with these children, while deeding over some of the stressors that go hand in hand with being a guardian.”
Katherine and her grandson (from her son, Tito) are due to make it to court next week to finalize the decision.
