KATIE HOLMES recently fired TOM CRUISE’s adopted daughter BELLA CRUISE from her clothing company Holmes and Yang, according to the latest Hollywood gossip.
And she reportedly did this right before filing for divorce from Tom.
Despite hinting about her impending split from her husband of six years in a recent interview with ELLE magazine, Katie’s intent to divorce Tom did not become clear until the day that she actually filed the divorce papers.
However, just like every Hollywood divorce, there were signs—one of which was when she suddenly and inexplicably fired Tom’s adopted daughter with Nicole Kidman, Bella Cruise, from her clothing company two months ago.
A source tells The Hollywood Reporter:
“[Bella] was fired out of the blue, and once Katie filed for divorce, it all made sense. This was a carefully planned ambush. Katie didn’t want Bella working for her anymore because she was Tom’s kid.”
The move was surprising, especially because Bella had been quite close to Katie—probably even closer than she was to Nicole.
The insider shares:
“There was never any trouble between [Bella and Katie]… Bella called Katie ‘Mom.’”
