MICHAEL JACKSON‘s 82-year-old mother KATHERINE has been reported missing by Michael‘s nephew after her family was unable to reach her all week, Hollywood news reports.
Just days after the Jackson family drama hit Hollywood gossip, the late King of Pop’s mother Katherine was reported missing to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on Saturday.
According to Katherine‘s attorney, Sandra Ribera, her client flew to Alburquerque, New Mexico last July 15 to attend a Jackson Brothers concert two days later… and she hasn’t gotten in contact with her grand kids since then.
Lt. Josh Thai recently confirmed to Radar Online:
“I can confirm that a missing person’s report was filed this evening by Mrs. Katherine Jackson‘s nephew, Trent Jackson, after he was unable to see her or reach her for a week. The report will be referred to the Homicide/Missing Persons Unit, and they will be handling the investigation.”
Ribera told CNN:
“The kids were trying to get a hold of their grandmother and they haven’t been able to reach her for almost a week. They are told she’s unavailable. I’m concerned that she’s not safe.”
Ribera also revealed that it was highly unusual for Katherine to be unreachable for more than 24 hours.
It also can’t be good for Katherine to be missing especially now that the Jackson family is in the middle of a feud that stemmed from issues surrounding the authenticity of Michael‘s will, which only listed Katherine and his three children.
A source told the site:
“The kids are being taken care of by their nanny. Paris is absolutely beside herself with worry. She lost her father three years ago, and not to know if her grandmother is ok is just more than she can bear.”
Paris tweeted earlier today:
“yes, my grandmother is missing. i haven’t spoken with her in a week i want her home now.”
Hopefully, Michael‘s siblings will help look for their mother because the world is not always a safe place for a famous 82-year-old woman…
