MICK JAGGER’s startling obsession with ANGELINA JOLIE has just been fully revealed in the legendary rock star’s new tell-all biography, star news has learned.
Back when she was still a drug addict who liked to experiment with whips and chains in the bedroom, Angelina Jolie had one very hardcore admirer—Mick Jagger himself.
Angie, who is now engaged to longtime partner Brad Pitt, is a prominent subject in Mick’s biography, “MICK: The Wild Life and Mad Genius of Jagger,” which was penned by famous journalist and best-selling author, Christopher Andersen.
As revealed in the book, Jolie had Mr. Jagger ”virtually sobbing” on her answering machine as he left her message after message, pleading with her to see him. The singer reportedly fell for the then-married Jolie after she played a stripper in one of the Rolling Stones’ music videos.
Andersen wrote (as excerpted from The New York Daily News):
“At first she refused to return his phone calls, and, in standard fashion, the messages began to pile up on her machine: “Angelina, it’s Mick. Will you please, please call me?” “Miss Jolie, why aren’t you returning my calls?” “Angelina, I have got to speak to you. Call me.””
The tell-all book also revealed that Angie’s mom, Marcheline Bertrand, was equally obsessed with the Rolling Stones frontman and wanted desperately for her daughter to marry him, despite the fact that Angie was then already married to British actor Jonny Lee Miller.
Andersen continued:
“Marche loved Mick for Angie,” said Marcheline’s friend Lauren Taines. “She felt that he could teach her about fame and how to handle it.””
So why was Mick so obsessed with Angie? Well, aside from her stunning beauty, the actress’ main draw was that she provided a bit of danger. The book explains:
“For Mick, a large part of Jolie’s appeal was her wild streak. “She scares me a little,” he said. “I like that.””
Though she was uninterested, Angelina went on to toy with Mick for years, even while she was allegedly juggling affairs with actors Tim Hutton, Nicolas Cage, Russell Crowe, and future ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton.
Jagger and Jolie… has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?
