SAM CLAFLIN has officially been confirmed to play Finnick Odair in the second installment of the “Hunger Games” film franchise, “Catching Fire.”
After emerging as the top choice the role of Katniss Everdeen’s tribute ally, Finnick Odair, in “Catching Fire,” Sam Claflin will soon be officially announced by Lionsgate as the actor who will play the “Hunger Games” character alongside the female lead, Jennifer Lawrence.
Claflin recently starred as the Prince Charming to Kristen Stewart‘s warrior princess character Snow White in this summer’s “Snow White and the Huntsman.”
The hot British actor is the latest to join the growing cast of “Catching Fire,” which includes Oscar-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman as the Gamemaker, Plutarch Heavensbee, and Amanda Plummer as District 3 tribute, Wiress.
