Recent Hollywood gossip reveals that a Scientologist has spoken out about his support for KATIE HOLMES‘s freedom from TOM CRUISE and his talked-about church.
It seems Katie has been receiving a lot of support for her decision to divorce Tom to get away from his allegedly controlling ways and his scary Scientology church—from which Katie is also reportedly trying to keep her daughter away from.
The actress, who has been trotting all around New York with her 6-year-old Suri—and without her wedding ring—looking more cheerful than usual despite being followed, seems to be unafraid to flaunt her freedom… and a Scientology believer says there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it.
Steve Hall, who actually labels himself a “whistleblower” who has stayed away from the church’s organization, told Us Weekly:
“With nine bodyguards, [Katie] shouldn’t be scared!”
Hall, who used to work closely with Tom‘s pal from the church, David Miscavige, for years added:
“[Katie] should go out in public, because people are going to rally behind her.”
And by “people,” he also meant himself as he stopped going to Scientology classes a year ago and has disagreed about Tom‘s parenting ways that Hall himself believes may have been negatively influenced by the church.
Hall continued:
“I wouldn’t tell [Katie] to be afraid. She should be overjoyed. She’s free. She should flaunt her freedom and latch on to it.”
We’re sure she’s got that covered.
