According to recent celebrity news, SHERYL CROW has filed for a restraining order from a delusional fan who threatened to shoot her.
How scary!
When Sheryl is not fumbling for lyrics to her hit songs on stage (due to her brain tumor), she encounters other life-threatening incidents… like deal with delusional fans who threaten to kill her.
One of her fans, 45-year-old Phillip Gordon Sparks, reportedly posted “disturbing” messages about her on Facebook three months ago that made the country singer desperate for protection, for herself and her family and friends.
TMZ reports that Sheryl explained in her documents:
“It was clear to me that [Sparks] was deeply disturbed because his posts were delusional, rambling, filled with profanity and laced with angry rants.”
Such rants reportedly included claims that she “had broken into his house because [Sheryl] was looking for his gun.” She also added:
“Other posts claimed that I was supposedly filming him surreptitiously, tried to have him arrested and that I had stolen money from him.”
Sheryl insisted:
“All of these allegations were, of course, categorically false.”
Things got scarier last week when Sparks reportedly went to the offices of the Screen Actors Guild and said that he was just going to “just shoot” Sheryl.
In light of this “extremely alarming” actions, Sheryl fears for her own safety as well as for the safety of her family, employees and manager—names of whom were said to have been mentioned in one of Sparks’ Facebook posts.
All in all, Sheryl is asking for protection for herself and for her two sons, her nanny, sister, parents, her assistant, her siblings and her manager.
Poor Sheryl… Hopefully the court doesn’t wait too long until granting her the protection that she needs!
