SOPHIA BUSH is reportedly auctioning off her designer clothes in an effort to raise funds to help build a new school in Guatemala.
Like any famous Hollywood actress, Sophia Bush owns a whole closet of sparkly gowns, sleek and sophisticated dresses, and other to-die-for designer fashions that would make any girl drool with envy.
But, according to the latest celebrity news, the “One Tree Hill” star has decided to auction off the gorgeous clothes from her very own closet via Closets for Causes‘ eBay auction in order to help provide better education to the impoverished people of Guatemala.
Sophia’s auction will be helping to raise funds for Pencils of Promise, a non-profit organization that aims to improve education in developing countries by building schools.
The actress tells Us Weekly:
“Pencils of Promise rocks my world because they believe every child should have access to quality education… They create schools, programs and global communities around the common goal of education for all.”
Closets for Causes founder Talia Bella says:
“We are excited to help Sophia reach her goal to build a school for the children of La Guadalupana, Guatemala via Pencils of Promise… There are such amazing pieces in the fashionista’s closet, and knowing that the proceeds are benefiting such an amazing cause is a win-win for our online shoppers.”
Louis Vuitton, Herve Leger, Marc Jacobs, Christian Louboutin and Alice + Olivia are just some of the designer brands up for grabs in Sophia’s auction, which is set to kick off on July 16 at 10 a.m. PST.
