TJ JACKSON, the son of MICHAEL JACKSON‘s brother, TITO, has just been appointed as the new temporary guardian of Michael‘s kids—namely PARIS, PRINCE and BLANKET—replacing Michael‘s mother, KATHERINE.

Amid the Jackson family’s lengthy feud—that recently evolved to a major feud between Michael‘s siblings and kids, plus his siblings’ “kidnapping” of their mother, Katherine, to Arizona—TJ has been officially granted guardianship of Michael‘s 3 kids… at least temporarily.

Until Katherine arrives to L.A. and files a motion to reinstate herself as guardian, TJ can take the advice of Judge Mitch Beckloff and seek permanent guardianship.

Why exactly would he do that?

As previously reported, it seems Katherine is being held “against her will” to stay in Arizona and abandon her grandkids—by her own grown-up children Randy, Janet, Jermaine and Rebbie—in hopes of coaxing her to join them overthrow the executors of the Michael Jackson estate who (based on Michael‘s will) granted a house and trust funds to his mother and kids.

Before the ruling was handed down, TJ‘s lawyer told the judge that TJ got a similarly strange phone call from Katherine where she seemed to be “talking in code.” TJ, though choking up, recalled in front of the judge:

“I’ve never heard my grandmother talk like that. She wasn’t sharp.  The pauses, choice of vocabulary … she has not used certain phrases like that before.”

Referring how the kids were separated from their grandmother, TJ recently comforted his cousin Paris by tweeting her:

“@ParisJackson I know it’s completely unfair for them to do this to you and your brothers. We will keep trying. I love you.”

Fortunately, the young teens have TJ to guide them through such a difficult time. Stay tuned…
