According to the latest Hollywood gossip, VANESSA PARADIS’ alleged resentment of JOHNNY DEPP’s success was the main reason for their breakup.
Not only is Johnny Depp considered one of the sexiest men alive, but he is also hailed as one of Hollywood’s highest paid actors—thanks in large part to the success of his film franchise “Pirates of the Caribbean,” which earned him over $300 million for all four films.
Unfortunately, despite the fact that his immense fame and money paid for their lavish lifestyle, Depp’s former longtime partner, French model and singer Vanessa Paradis, reportedly started feeling a growing resentment of his success, which is said to be the cause of their split.
A pal tells Us Weekly:
“Vanessa started to feel like she’d sacrificed her career for his.”
The source continues:
“Nothing Johnny did was ever good enough for Vanessa. When he was working, she wasn’t happy. And when he wasn’t working, he was called a slob for not doing enough for the kids and her family.”
All of these negative feelings, of course, took its toll on the couple’s relationship.
The friend explains:
“They’d have blazing fights… Vanessa would take her frustrations out on him.”
It was pretty much over by then. Nonetheless, Johnny and Vanessa remained together and tried to keep their family intact for their two children.
And meanwhile, the “Dark Shadows” actor began to feel depressed… which explains why he’s been looking more and more haggard these past few years.
The insider shares:
“[Johnny] started to drink heavily… It broke Johnny‘s heart that the family he loves so much was becoming fractured.”
