“The Dark Knight Rises” studio, Warner Bros., is planning to make a substantial donation to the victims of the horrific Colorado shooting held in Aurora last week.
In the wake of the tragic shooting rampage that took place during a midnight screening of Christopher Nolan‘s “The Dark Knight Rises” held at Century 16 in Aurora, the film’s studio has decided to give a donation to charities that support the victims.
Although the studio refused to reveal the exact amount, sources say that it will be “substantial.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter:
“…the studio has been in contact with Colorodo [sic] governor John Hickenlooper‘s office and will contribute to a fund identified by the governor on the website givingfirst.org, which is a program of Colorado’s Community First Foundation.”
The report continued:
“The fund distributes monies across several charities that will support victims of the July 20 killing spree that left at least 12 dead and dozens injured.”
How generous, indeed.
What do you think of Warner Bros.’s generosity?
