BRITNEY SPEARS Ordered By SIMON COWELL To “Clean Up” And “Dress Better” For “X Factor” Tapings?
Celebrity news tells us that BRITNEY SPEARS was recently ordered by fellow judge and employer SIMON COWELL to “clean up” and “dress better” when she shows up for their “X Factor” tapings.
Ouch!
Unlike Demi Lovato, who polished her look by dyeing her hair blonde and dressing like an edgy rocker chick right after she signed on as an “X Factor” judge, Britney Spears hasn’t made any changes to her look (although her body has been looking more toned recently) and has been pretty much dressing the same—wavy hair, dark eye makeup, and skintight dresses.
Unfortunately, Simon Cowell doesn’t approve.
The NY Post reports:
“Britney Spears was told by Simon Cowell to dress better and clean up her hair and makeup before going on “The X Factor.””
The order reportedly came after Brit turned up at one of their tapings without a bra. A source reveals:
“It was made clear she is expected to be impeccably dressed and made-up for the show. And none of those ragged hair extensions.”
Kind of harsh, huh? But we all have to keep in mind that Simon Cowell has always brutally harsh… and to his credit, it’s always constructive harshness.
We hope Britney starts being more fashionable—a la Jennifer Lopez during her “American Idol” days—now.
