In recent celebrity news, “Fashion Police” host JOAN RIVERS has joined the bandwagon in slamming MILEY CYRUS’ new, boyish hairstyle.
The acid-tongued comedienne is already in a Twitter war with Rihanna after she said she would “slap” her for still being in love with Chris Brown (which the Barbadian singer admitted during her recent Oprah interview), but it looks like she’s still looking to start another one… and this time, with teen queen Miley Cyrus.
A lot of people have been making mean comments and jokes about Miley’s new pixie cut, and Joan Rivers, always trying to keep up with the young ‘uns, decided to jump on the bandwagon with the Pile On Miley’s Hair Club and get a word in edgewise.
She tweeted:
“Jennifer Aniston once popularized a hairstyle called “The Rachel.” Miley Cyrus has done the same with her cut known as “The Meds Wore Off.””
Harsh.
Cyrus has yet to formally respond to the joke, but the 19-year-old did tweet a cryptic message that may or may not be aimed at Rivers:
“ignorance isn’t bliss. it’s IGNORANT.”
