KATE UPTON recently revealed that she used to be teased for having no boobs when she was young.
Looks like Kate got the last laugh, eh?
The blonde beauty, who landed her first Sports Illustrated cover earlier this year, shot to international fame after the world saw her boobies jiggling while she danced “Teach Me How To Dougie” at a basketball game in a YouTube video—which has since gotten almost 9 million views—in 2011. Since then, the tall, voluptuous 20-year-old has been gracing every magazine known to man, while flaunting her assets in the skimpiest of bikinis.
But would you believe that Kate’s now-famous chest used to be flatter than a board?
The model tells The Sun:
“When I was in junior high I used to be made fun of for being flat-chested. Everyone would go, ‘She’s not pretty. She doesn’t have boobs.’”
Kate adds:
“So I always had boob envy. And when I finally went through my growth spurt and they appeared I just loved them. That’s why I like boobs, because I didn’t have them, then I got ’em.”
And despite the fact that she has always been pretty, Kate wasn’t always the gorgeous head-turner she is now.
Kate’s former classmate reveals:
“Kate was very pretty but wasn’t the girl that all the guys wanted to date. If you saw her in a bikini now, you wouldn’t take your eyes off her. But back in school she did not rate a second glance. There were far prettier girls.”
But Kate, who is fast becoming one of the most sought-after models in the world, eventually developed her now-famous curves… and that was when everyone started to take notice.
A family friend shares:
“Kate really did just develop these huge boobs out of nowhere… One week she had a modest bust and the next she was bursting out of her T-shirts. Her mum used to joke about there being something in the water in Melbourne.”
The insider adds:
“Kate wasn’t embarrassed about her shape and embraced it. She would wear T-shirts that showed off her cleavage. She was always very confident and not shy, so she could carry it off. She had a growth spurt and with her new body looked absolutely amazing. A real knockout.”
