KATHERINE JACKSON seems to be (finally) admitting to Hollywood news that she was tricked into going on her recent Arizona trip, causing her to leave her three grand kids from MICHAEL JACKSON for more than a week.
Better late than never, huh?
Michael Jackson‘s 82-year-old mother, Katherine, filed a declaration as part of her bid to share guardianship over Michael‘s three young kids—namely Prince, Paris and Blanket—with the children’s current temporary guardian, their cousin TJ Jackson.
And as part of the declaration, Katherine had to recall the reasons for her recent trip that her grandkids wasn’t informed about and had cost her the permanent legal guardianship of the unfortunate young children.
It was widely reported that she was “kidnapped” by her kids, Janet, Randy and Jermaine, and was prevented from getting back in contact with Michael‘s kids so some of her grown-up children can coax seek her support in overthrowing the Michael Jackson estate executors that left MJ‘s estate and trust fund to only Katherine and the three kids.
As soon as Katherine got back from her controversial “trip,” she claimed that she just went on a “short vacation.” But it seems she’s now singing a much different tune.
TMZ reported that in the documents that Katherine filed recently, she claimed that she was supposed to watch her sons in concert in New Mexico but on July 14, a doctor advised her to take a plane instead. Believing that her longtime physician advised the unnamed doc, she obliged… but later found herself in Tucson where her children had set her up at a lux resort.
She later had to surrender her phone and her iPad, which was why she couldn’t contact her grandkids who later reported her missing. Katherine also claimed that she didn’t know about the report because her TV was also shut off.
Katherine asked about the children, though. She was told that “they were fine” and had no reason not to believe the claim.
She admitted:
“At the time, I trusted the people I was with to be honest with me.”
Interestingly enough, her statements are significantly different from her previous interview answers—when she was surrounded by her conspiring kids, Jermaine, Rebbie, and Janet. She previously said:
“One reason I didn’t call is I just gave up my phone and I didn’t want to have any phone calls while I was here.”
Oh, Katherine. If only you would stop letting yourself become a pawn in this grueling (and very confusing) family drama!
