KATHERINE JENKINS received death threats over rumors of an affair with the married DAVID BECKHAM.
Poor girl!
When Katherine Jenkins willfully denied “untrue” rumors on Twitter about her having an affair with Victoria Beckham‘s hot footballer husband, Beckham fans started to worry that it may end up being true.
Of course the rumors haven’t even hit celebrity gossip websites prior to the mezzo soprano singer’s defensive tweets and they’re probably not true, but several fans would like to be sure that it stays that way… Or else Jenkins will pay.
Yikes.
One fan tweeted:
“Honestly, and you all said my dislike of Katherine Jenkins was irrational (it is, and that b**** is getting cut if David and Posh split.)”
Another showed love for Beckham and his Spice Girl wife:
“Emotional support will be needed if any truth comes from this. I love Posh and Becks.”
A scarier tweet went:
“She’s dead when I get her. I will kill that s***.”
As a result of all the death threats, Jenkins started looking for protection. A friend of hers told The Sun:
“She was disgusted by the abuse because it was so sinister and scary. When she saw the messages she straight away wanted to protect herself by getting police involved.”
Her rep also stated:
“Due to the serious nature of the threats, the tweets have been reported to the police.”
How scary.
