R. KELLY Does Not Sing For Free
R. KELLY recently made it clear to celebrity news that he does not sing for free… or for a limited talent fee!
R. Kelly has put his foot down… His talents come with a price, which is why he just cancelled his much-awaited cruise ship performance in October when they reportedly couldn’t pay him his rightful talent fee.
They can say whatever they want too, but the man does need a lot of dough to pay out his tax debts!
TMZ explains that a company called “Concerts Cruise LLC” hired the divorced R&B singer to headline their “Love Letter” cruise with two awesome shows during a five-day trip, but they allegedly “never actually paid him.”
A rep for the singer told the site:
“R. Kelly had been looking forward to the cruise and was ready, willing and able to perform for fans. He is sorry for any disappointment but plans to see his fans very soon on a U.S. tour.”
The company has informed their customers of the cancellation and promised that they will “handle all applicable refunds at point of purchase.”
Your loss, Concerts Cruise. We’re sure R. Kelly has tons of other gigs to compensate for the loss…
