In recent celebrity news, LADY GAGA has just fired back at PETA and slammed them for their “violent, abusive, and childish campaigns.”

Whoa.

Lady Gaga, who was recently criticized by PETA for wearing fur, has just issued a statement in which she defends herself and her right to fashion…

Oh, and it also references the flour-bombing attack that some overzealous animal rights activists staged against PETA’s favorite opponentKim Kardashian, last March.

The meat-wearing singer wrote:

“I want you to know that I care deeply about your feelings and views, and I will always support your philosophies about life… I do not however support violent, abusive, and childish campaigns for ANY CAUSE.”

She continued:

“Particularly one that I respect. ‘Animal Rights.’ I am choosing not to comment on whether or not the furs I purchase are faux fur-pile or real because I would think it hypercritical not to acknowledge the python, ostrich, cow hide, leather, lamb, alligator, ‘kermit’ and not to mention meat, that I have already worn.”

The singer added:

“You see a carcass, I see a museum pièce de résistance.”

And finally, here’s the part that references the flour attack on Kim:

“I respect your views, please respect mine. And to campaigners, Save your flour to make bread for the children who are hungry. And Kim Kardashian is fabulous.”

Do you agree with Gaga’s statements?
