Excessive airbrushing is certainly nothing new in today’s Photoshop-dependent world, as many female celebrities are usually Photoshopped when they appear in magazines and product advertisements. However, there are those who unfortunately become victimized by airbush-happy photo editors who end up editing the celebrity’s appearance until they are virtually unrecognizable.

As recently reported by star news, it appears that Lady Gaga is the latest female celebrity the “way too much” airbrush treatment, as she appears on the cover of Vogue’s September issue with an incredibly small, whittled-down waist, exaggerated hips and thighs, and a few other possible alterations around the face area.

As expected, many people were outraged by the airbrushing done to the pop star’s photo, as it is believed that it promotes unrealistic beauty and encourages women to believe that being skinny—like the airbrushed models and celebrities on magazines—is the only way to be beautiful.
