The latest Hollywood celebrity gossip tells us that MADONNA has decided to “forgive” ELTON JOHN for calling her a “f*cking fairground stripper” in a recent interview.
Did she now?
We may be witnessing a miracle here, because Madonna—who was slammed countless of times for flashing body parts during shows and allegedly citing drugs during a performance for an electronic dance crowd—has offered peace to her critic.
And we’re referring to Elton John, the latest to bash Madonna in an interview earlier this month by saying she “looks like a f***ing fairground stripper” and adding, “She’s such a nightmare, her tour has been a disaster and it couldn’t have happened to a bigger c***.”
Madonna‘s olive branch came in the form of her song, “Masterpiece.” She explained last Tuesday night at Nice:
“I know [Elton]‘s a big fan of [the song]. And I know he’s a big fan of mine. And you know? I forgive him. Gotta start somewhere.”
Sounds almost believable… except that “Masterpiece” is what beat Sir Elton‘s “Hello Hello” for Best Original Song at January’s Golden Globes, after which he called her ”desperate” and said her acceptance speech “was embarrassing in its narcissism.”
Now, do you think Madonna was being sincere about her forgiveness or was she being sarcastic?
