BLAKE LIVELY’s ex-boyfriend PENN BADGLEY has just spoken out about her surprise wedding to RYAN REYNOLDS… and he says that he “couldn’t be happier for her.”

When celebrity gossip websites first reported that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds had tied the knot after less than a year of dating, the prevailing reaction was shock… but of course, once that was over with, the well wishes began pouring in.
And one of those well-wishers was Blake’s former boyfriend of three years, Penn Badgley.
When the actor, who is now happily dating “X-Men: First Class” star Zoe Kravitz, was asked to comment on his ex-flame’s unexpected nuptials, he told PEOPLE:
“I actually didn’t know until last night, but I think it’s fantastic… I couldn’t be happier for her.”
As for his thoughts on Blake and Ryan’s relationship, Penn said:
“I think it’s everything that it should be… [they’re] pretty spot-on.”
The “Gossip Girl” star then said again:
“I’m so happy for her.”
That’s a very sweet thing to say, don’t you think?
