BRITNEY SPEARS cringed at a cover of her song, “Circus,” during auditions on “The X Factor.”
Britney Spears and Demi Lovato will finally debut as judges on the soon-to-be-aired 2nd season of “The X Factor” and they prove that they can be quite as ruthless as the show’s veteran judges, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid.
But while the former Disney stars seem to be enjoying their new jobs—after day 1, that is—they sure have had their fare share of exposure to downright horrific auditions too.
In a newly released clip, a male auditioner was seen bringing flowers on stage for Britney and broke into a dance and a song… the pop star’s somewhat recent hit, “Circus.”
Britney ended up looking like she wanted to walk out and Cowell told the wannabe:
“That was one of the worst auditions we had this year. It was like you had an argument with Britney Spears, got drunk, and started to scream at her.”
