Taylor has been wearing a lot of elegant looks on the red carpet lately—clearly, she’s finally over her obsession with sequins and sparkles.
For the MTV Video Music Awards, Taylor decided to surprise everyone by opting out of a gown (the obvious choice for Taylor) and wearing a white silk crepe pantsuit by J. Mendel.
The perfectly tailored suit was paired with an off-white plunging top, gold Tom Ford strappy sandals, and glittering dangle earrings by Lorraine Schwartz.
Sleek straight hair, dramatic eyeliner, and ruby red lips completed Taylor’s sophisticated look.
