When Brown was first spotted with his new neck tattoo (which is the face of a woman who looks remarkably like his ex), celebrity gossip websites speculated that the face was actually Rihanna’s, and that the tattoo was a tribute to her and a sign of their “renewed love.”
But the singer, who is still very much with his girlfriend Karrueche Tran despite his public kiss with Rihanna at the VMAs, insists that none of the speculations are true.
Brown’s rep tells TMZ:
“His tattoo is a sugar skull (associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead) and a MAC cosmetics design he saw. It is not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported.”
Well, that explains it then.
