MARIAH CAREY recently admitted to entertainment news that she’d love to judge “American Idol” by herself.
But we know that’s not going to happen…
As we all know, “American Idol” has been going down a wild spiral ever since former judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler quit the show to focus on their music careers.
The show’s sole remaining judge, Randy Jackson, followed their footsteps weeks later, leaving at least two empty seats next to the show’s newly signed judge, the legendary (and $18 million richer) Mariah Carey.
And so the headache continues… Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban are reportedly nearing deals to join the show while the list of rumored judges continue to grow.
But wouldn’t it be much, much easier if they didn’t have to hire anyone else?
When asked whether or not she can do the 3-4 person job by herself, Mariah answered:
“Naturally … why not?”
