‘’Pretty Little Liars” LUCY HALE has split from boyfriend CHRIS ZYLKA, according to the latest Hollywood gossip.
Another celebrity breakup, huh? Can’t say we’re surprised.
The cute actress and her hunky boyfriend, who is best known for his role as Peter Parker’s high school rival on “The Amazing Spider-Man”, have reportedly called it quits after dating for half a year.
Zylka himself confirmed the breakup when he tweeted (in response to a fan’s tweet):
“don’t have a girlfriend. She decided she was too good”
And when he realized that the tweet sounded a little too catty and bitter, he tweeted again:
“Never any disrespect towards anyone. Only if you say what you say you should stick to it. If you say you love then love”
Hmm… sounds like Lucy broke his heart! And that just might be the case, because a day before Chris confirmed his breakup with Lucy on Twitter, the “Pretty Little Liars” star was spotted out on the town in Beverly Hills with “Teen Wolf” star Colton Haynes… whom she insists is just a friend.
After the backlash over his tweet about Lucy, an apologetic Chris took to Twitter to clear the air with his ex-girlfriend and his fans:
“I’d like to apologize about my previous comments. Lucy is not only one of the most talented people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing… but also one the most beautiful inside, and out. Anyone who’s ever watched, or had the pleasure of meeting her knows this to be true.”
He continued:
“I apologize for tarnishing any view anyone has on this amazing women (sic). I had the honor of loving her. That love will never fade, as your love… should never fade from her is well. She’s going to change the world one day. And the last thing I want to do is be any reason for her to look bad in any way.”
And finally, Chris said:
“She [is] a remarkable human with an infectious personality, and a heart bigger than anyone’s I’ve ever known. Proud to love her. And I’ll continue to be her biggest fan as I know she will to me too. Love you all and be well and don’t forget… ARIA RULES!!!!!”
