The latest entertainment news reports that RANDY JACKSON is returning as an “American Idol” judge.

Just when we thought “American Idol” has decided to take away their sole remaining original judge, Randy Jackson, to make him a “mentor,” FOX struck a deal with him to stay on the panel.
With Randy back in the picture, the table now has two official judges for the show’s upcoming season—the show’s newest superstar judge, Mariah Carey—and is reportedly waiting for Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban to ink their deal with producers and ultimately replace former judges, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler.
The show’s honcho and former judge, Simon Cowell, seems to support the decision. He tweeted last Monday:
“Just heard randy is back on idol. Right decision.”
