SHERYL CROW revealed that her excessive cell phone use back in the days could have caused her benign brain tumor.
Yikes!
As previously reported, Sheryl Crow found out that she had a non-cancerous brain tumor the size of her pinky following her embarrassing on stage performance where she flubbed the lyrics of her famous hit, “Soak Up The Sun.”
Now, the country songstress thinks that it may be due to her phoning back in the early 90s.
In an interview with Katie Couric, Sheryl revealed that the tumor is located in her “cell phone area,” and said:
“I do have the theory that it’s possible that it’s related to [cell phone use].”
Though not confirmed by her doctors, she’s convinced that her theory seemed fit. She explained:
“[In the] early early days when I was promoting my first record, I did hours of phoners on the old archaic cell phones.”
After that, Sheryl realized she had difficulty carrying on normal conversations as she felt “mushy,” and once thought she had early onset Alzheimer’s.
Still, Sheryl told Katie and her fans that it’s ”nothing I have to worry about.”
Take it as a warning guys—better safe than sorry!
