In recent star news, ASHTON KUTCHER has reportedly replaced CHARLIE SHEEN as highest paid TV actor, according to Forbes.
Ashton is one lucky guy. Not only is he dating this year’s “Sexiest Woman Alive,” but he’s now also the highest paid actor on TV—a title that was once held by his “Two and a Half Men” predecessor, Charlie Sheen.
As previously reported, the 34-year-old actor was offered less money than Sheen when he signed on to replace the volatile warlock on “Two and a Half Men” (after the latter suffered a major meltdown that led to him being fired). Still, that didn’t stop Ashton from becoming Forbes’ highest paid actor on TV, with a paycheck of $24 million from May 2011 to 2012.
Last year, Charlie was at the top of the list with a whopping $40 million paycheck.
Right under Ashton in Forbes’ list of highest paid TV actors, “House” star Hugh Laurie and Ray Romano are tied for second place, followed by Alec Baldwin, Mark Harmon, and Tim Allen.
