According to Hollywood news, the reason why KRISTEN STEWART bought a new house in L.A. is because ROBERT PATTINSON didn’t want her to move back in with him.
Contrary to reports that Kristen had moved back in with Rob (she had to move out after she was caught cheating on him with director Rupert Sanders) when they got back together, the “On The Road” star recently bought a house in Los Feliz and has been living there on her own.
Apparently, Rob still needed some space from her so that he could heal, which is why he didn’t want her to move back in. Still, Kristen’s new house is very close—just one mile and a half—to the home where Rob currently resides… it’s also the same home they used to live in together prior to her cheating scandal.
A source tells RadarOnline.com:
“Torn between letting Kristen go and trying to make their relationship work again, Robert told her he didn’t want her to be far away. But he was quick to also say, he didn’t want them to live together while they were trying to sort out their differences… Robert wants his own space and wants to take it very slowly to see if their relationship is repairable.”
But Rob isn’t a jerk who was content to sit idly by while his on-again girlfriend was homeless—he reportedly helped Kristen find a home in the same neighborhood, so that they could still see each other whenever they wanted to.
The insider shares:
“Soon after Kristen’s affair with Rupert Sanders was exposed, she had to find herself a new home… Kristen loved living in Los Feliz and found a few properties she absolutely loved. But she needed a second opinion and asked Robert for his advice. Robert, being the nice guy he is, told her which property to buy, and it just so ended up being the one she bought.”
Though they’re reportedly trying for some space, Pattinson was recently photographed kissing and hugging Stewart while he hung out at her new Los Feliz pad.
