Celebrity news reports that LEIGHTON MEESTER has chopped her hair off following the wrap of her long time series, “Gossip Girl.”
Now that “Gossip Girl” has come to a close, the stars—specifically one of its lead female actresses, Leighton Meester—is free to do almost anything she wants to her physical appearance.
The stunning blonde, who has always sported long (and usually curly) brunette locks while playing Blair Waldorf, has finally changed her hair. It wasn’t total surprise considering that she has clued us all in in an interview with New York Magazine last month.
Speaking of her plans to pull an Emma Watson, Leighton said:
“I haven’t really been able to change my hair for six years — and I used to do it all the time, so I think if the mood strikes me, I’ll cut my hair or dye it or try different things.”
And she did!
Leighton then showed up at the Flaunt magazine dinner in her honor with a much shorter brown hair in West Hollywood last October 25. She confessed to Just Jared:
“I chopped off my hair after ‘Gossip Girl’ wrapped. My long, wavy hair got a lot of mileage, so it was time for a change.
